The assignment, from Scott Stowell in January 2010, went something like this: Explain that Yucca Mountain is toxic to whoever (or whatever) might be looking at it for up to 10,000 years into the future. “What materials will last that long?” and “How will the audience in 10,000 years communicate?” are the two main questions that have to be answered. I think it turned out better to be described as “Just a cool skull sculpture…”
